My most recent child support horror story started in September of 2007, when I stopped receiving child support.
I petitioned Family Court in December of 2007.
I had to appear in court several times until April of 2008
The Administrative Judge send me a letter dismissing the case because they couldn't find the father.
The father's driver's license was suspended in June of 2008.
I have not heard from my case worker for over a year.
I have not received monthly, quarterly, or yearly statements from the child support collection unit for almost 2 years.
To the best of my knowledge, my case worker at the child support collection and enforcement unit has not done anything further on my case.
SURE, the child support collection unit is searching the father's social security number in a "SETI" fashion.
For any of you not familiar with SETI, it is a website that relies on multiple computers to look for any life in outer space.
Let's hope if any life is found in outer space, that it is more intelligent than the workers at the child support collection unit.
